Following our successful management of both De Vere Hotels and Luxury Lodges SEO campaigns, C2C were asked to take on De Vere Golf in December 2013. With 12 clubs around the UK, golf is a significant revenue stream for the business and having recently been given its own website, C2C were tasked with pushing the new site up the natural search rankings and delivering increased traffic across a number of target keywords.
Our first task was to complete an extensive audit of the new website to benchmark current organic performance and identify various areas of opportunity to deliver improved positions for the relevant keyword set within natural search.
It is still very early days in the campaign, however in the first few months we’ve delivered some strong results:
- Increased site traffic by 95%
- 26% of the core target keyword pool are now in Google’s top 30 results
And again it's all down to white hat SEO; no black hat, unethical techniques for which our clients could be penalised by Google.
