Cameron House and The Carrick already had strong brand identities under previous owners De Vere and QHotels. C2C were tasked with increasing awareness for the brand as well as increasing fans and engagement across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. 

In order to meet these objectives, C2C put into place an effective social media strategy for each social media network including –

  • Creative and engaging content which effectively conveys the brand identity
  • A combination of organic and paid activity to increase reach and awareness
  • Monthly content planning and daily community management
  • Social media flash sales using exclusive, trackable social media discount codes and a quarterly competition

The Results

In the first 3 months of the Cameron Lodges social media campaign, C2C achieved the following results –

  • Total fans increased by 2838%, increasing from 307 in Month 1 to 9,021 in Month 3
  • Total reach increased by 6122%, from 22,999 in Month 1 to 1,430,978 in Month 3
  • Total engagement on social media increased by 41414%, from 263 in Month 1 to 109,182 in Month 3
  • Website visits from social media increased by 1301%, from 165 visits in Month 1 to 2,312 visits in Month 3
  • Social media is also helping to drive bookings with social media specific promotional codes, available to track within the Cameron Lodges booking system
